Care Support Worker Staff

As a leading social care provider we are seeking reliable, committed people to support Carers of Adults and Children with disabilities in the borough of Bexley and surrounding areas.You will be providing support to people with a diverse range of care needs, delivering a high quality service of personal, practical and emotional support, within the family home or on outside activities.

In return we offer a competitive hourly rate, a comprehensive Skills for Care induction programme and an opportunity to attain a formal NVQ Level 2 care qualification.

We currently have  Care Support Worker vacancies for the 'Abbey Road Friends' project for weekends and holiday cover.

Trustee Vacancies

We are seeking interested and committed people to join our Board of Trustees to help us further achieve our aims and charitable objectives. We are particularly interested in applicants with the following backgrounds/experience:

  • Media
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • Service Users
  • Legal
  • Project Planning

The Role:

  • Contribute to the development of services provided by Crossroads Care Bexley
  • Provide overall strategic governance of all of the charity's activities to ensure its financial stability.
  • Attend and participate actively in Board meetings and sub-committees.

The Candidates

  • Commitment to the ethos, values and work of Crossroads Care Bexley and empathy with the issues faced by Carers.

The attributes to make a strong overall contribution to the work of the Board. The role of a Trustee is voluntary and therefore unpaid, but travel and other expenses will be reimbursed.
